O: The annealing state is applicable to processed products that have undergone complete annealing to obtain the lowest strength. H: The work hardening state is applicable to products that increase their strength through work hardening. After work hardening, the product can undergo (or may not undergo) additional heat treatment to reduce its strength. W: The state of solid solution heat treatment is an unstable state that is only applicable to alloys that undergo natural aging at room temperature after solid solution heat treatment. This state code only indicates that the product is in the natural aging stage. T: The heat treatment state (different from the F, O, and H states) is applicable to products that have undergone (or have not undergone) work hardening to achieve stability after heat treatment. The T code must be followed by one or more Arabic numerals (usually heat treated reinforced materials). The F state is the free machining state of 6061 aluminum plate, suitable for special products under work hardening and heat treatment conditions during the forming process. The production cycle of F-state is very short: medium and thick plate slicing - sawing machine - polishing (or not polishing according to customer requirements) - packaging. The entire process is arranged smoothly and can be shipped within 3 days. The mechanical properties of F-state are not specified, and customers can heat treat F-state according to their own needs to produce it into the required state for use. The corresponding price is also the cheapest. The O state is the lowest strength processed product obtained by fully annealing 6061 aluminum plate. Suitable for 6061 aluminum alloy sheets below 8.0, its production process includes a series of production processes such as cold rolled finished product thickness, tension bending straightening cleaning, complete annealing, flying shear slicing (or tension bending straightening finished products), packaging and warehousing, with a production cycle second only to T6 state. The T6 state is the most commonly used for 6061 aluminum alloy, and 6061 medium plate is processed through medium plate quenching, medium plate slicing, stretching machine, aging treatment, sawing machine, polishing, and packaging. The entire production cycle is about 10 days, and after solid solution heat treatment, there is no need for cold processing. It can be straightened and leveled, but it does not affect the mechanical properties.
